East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police arrested four perpetrators who were involved in online or online prostitution practices in Kupang City.
Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police, Kombes Pol Henry Novika Chandra, said the four people were arrested during Operation Pekat Turangga on May 20.
"The operation was led by AKP Hady Samsul Bahri and IPTU Muhamad Tahir and its location is Fatululi Village, Oebobo District," he said, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.
The four people arrested on Tuesday night May 20, consisting of three women and one male, aged between 16 and 25 years.
One of them is still an active vocational school student, while the other is a student and a daily worker.
"In order to protect the privacy and legal process, the identities of the alleged perpetrators are not fully published," said Henry.
