BOGOR Resort Police (Polres) Bogor arrested 40 perpetrators of thuggery at various vulnerable points in Bogor Regency, West Java. This operation was carried out through joint raids with the TNI and the Bogor Regency Government.
Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro, explained that the raid began with a joint rally at the Bogor Police Command Headquarters on Friday, May 16, 2025.
"From the results of the operation, 23 people were secured and taken to the Bogor Resort Police for initial data collection and guidance. Furthermore, they were handed over to the Bogor Regency Social Service for follow-up through the social development program," Rio said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 17.
Meanwhile, the Gunung Putri Police also arrested 17 perpetrators of thuggery in the PT Tirta Murni Pratama area, Wanaherang Village, Gunung Putri District. The perpetrators are known to lock the company's gates using chains and locks from outside.
