Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, emphasized that his party would not tolerate anyone involved in the circulation of illegal drugs.

"These drugs can be abused and very dangerous for the younger generation. We will continue to carry out raids and take firm action against the perpetrators in accordance with applicable law," said Kombes Susatyo, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Kemayoran Police Chief, Kompol Agung Adriansyah, explained that the disclosure of this case began with reports from the public who suspected that the cosmetic shop was unnatural.

"As soon as we receive the report, our team will immediately conduct an investigation and monitoring at the location," said Kompol Agung.

After collecting enough evidence, the police immediately raided the shop and found 22 items of Tramadol which were sold without official permission.

"We immediately secured the perpetrator and the evidence to undergo further investigation," he added.

As a result of his actions, APM was charged with Article 138 paragraph (2) Juncto Article 435 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. He faces up to 12 years in prison and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.
